The Portland SharePoint User Group (PSPUG) meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Microsoft office in the Pearl district. Topics include administration, development, and best practices - folks who attend vary extensively in experience. The PSPUG doesn't do sales pitches from vendors. Lots of highly experienced SharePoint users attend, and all are welcome. Be sure to check out the topic in advance so that you are not bored to tears or drowning in confusion.
