  pdxfunc is a study/user group exploring functional programming in Portland, Oregon. The group welcomes programmers with any level of experience or interest in any functional language, including Haskell, Lisp, OCaml, and others.

  Portland Data Viz Group

  The Portland Data Visualization Group meets every 3-5 months to share interesting projects that are being worked on in the community.

  NoPoCoNi - North Portland Coders Night

  Come hang out, drink beer, and write code every Monday night. The meetings are extremely informal, and everyone is welcome! Maybe we'll be in the middle room, maybe in the back room, just keep walking until you see a table full of laptops.

  The Portland Ruby Brigade is a user group for Ruby programmers in the Portland, Oregon area. We're a friendly group that freely shares knowledge about the Ruby programming language, its libraries and frameworks, such as Ruby on Rails.

  Portland JavaScript Admirers is a group that meets monthly to discuss topics on JavaScript and ECMAscript ranging from client-side web frameworks, to functional and prototypal programming theory.

  Quarterly meetup on authentication, authorization, and related tooling. UpdatePDX with its language agnostic nature was part of the inspiration.

  Come hang out and write code in a nice uncrowded environment with your fellow nerds, drink beer and eat nachos! The meetings are extremely informal, and everyone is welcome! The place is small so finding the nerd herd shouldn't be too difficult. We're usually at the long tables by the door.
