I am relatively new to programming. I started with HTML/CSS and Javascript but found Ruby and fell in love. I finished the Pickaxe and have been practicing my Ruby skills on codewars.com but I would like to find a real-world project to work on and start a portfolio, whether it is pure Ruby (e.g. creating a useful RubyGem) or developing a web site using a Ruby-based framework such as Rails or Sinatra. Appreciate any and all advice.
